Last week’s groundbreaking at Great Hearts Prairie View wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a promise to the North Fort Worth community we serve. Phase 2 will be the new home for our Middle & High School, a purpose-built expansion that reflects our enduring commitment to the upper school experience.
“As this building grows, we’re building something truly special—a world-class academy grounded in the liberal arts, steeped in the Western tradition, and ordered toward a love of what is true, beautiful, and good,” said Headmaster David LaPointe, who has led Prairie View since its earliest days, when the academy opened K–2 in 2022.
Assistant Headmaster Leah Pittsinger underscored the community roots of the project: “From the very beginning, Prairie View has been a place of belonging and support—my own children attend here. We’re thrilled to grow as a Prairie View family and a Great Hearts family, in love and service to our community.”
As we add square footage, we’re expanding what’s possible: more room to read closely, think deeply, lead with courage, and serve great-heartedly. The new Upper School facilities will support rigorous study, vibrant community life, and the daily habits that cultivate character—today and for generations to come.
Phase 2 is expected to be completed in the Summer of 2026 and will open its doors to scholars in grades 6-11 in August.
