This presentation provides an overview of our district’s performance as we review the latest STAAR testing results. Since 2019, we have witnessed substantial enrollment increases, yet we continue to see strong performance in Reading, with an 88% passing rate and a strong upward trend at higher grade levels. We see a similar trend in other subject areas as well.
We do have specific improvement areas to work on this year. While state testing results are important markers of success, they do not constitute the sum and substance of our classical education. We use this information alongside other available data to identify trends and make informed decisions to serve all our scholars better.
